A team stocked full off international and experienced players from Holland, Belgium, Czech Republic and England arrive in Sydney on Wednesday the 10th of July. The aim of the tour is to help promote and develop korfball in NSW – raising interest among the public and raising the standard of the current Redbacks players. With their arrival so soon, the programme has been finalised with highlights including:

Thursday 11th – Welcome drinks at Helm Bar Darling Harbour 6pm

Friday 12th – Pub Crawl! Departing Town Hall 8:00pm – $10 for 4 drinks in 4 pubs + pizza

Saturday 13th – Coaching clinic / theory session 4pm then ‘Come and Try’ session 5pm at Ryde Sports Centre

Sunday 14th – SCRKC training session 2pm then Demo Match and ‘Come and Try’ session 3pm at Cooke and Phillip Park Centre

Despite the wet and windy day, SCRKC raised $464.65 on behalf of Korfball NSW at Woolworths in Balmain. Massive thanks to Tamika for the organisation, Mark and Rob for sizzling the sausages to perfection, Blake, Zoe, Gemma and Sarah for baking some delicious treats and Meena, Swa and Graham for enticing the customers! A successful day all round.
