Rain delays pushed the club’s Christmas party out into 2019 which turned out all for the better as the sun was shining and the water was perfect.
The Redbacks tackled (literally) a new sport – SUPball (Stand Up Paddle Ball) at Manly in Sydney and can safely say that we’ve caught the bug for this emerging sport! Described as a combination of netball, water polo, lacrosse and rugby(!) we certainly did plenty of throwing, paddling, falling and tackling.
We’ll certainly be back for another game before the end of summer!

With Christmas fast approaching and many of us otherwise engaged in Christmas activities, parties and a rush of work before Christmas we will be cancelling Thursday night training until the new year. Come January we are hoping we will all be fresh faced, eager and ready to work off our Turkey and Christmas Pud bellies and prepare for the upcoming Adelaide summer tournament in February.

After a long Christmas and new year period (not forgetting Australia Day) without korfball, finally it is back in Sydney!
Sat 1st February – Eora Fitness, Redfern – 10am until 11:30am
It should be a great session to dust off the korfwebs and get ready for the Adelaide Summer Classic on the 22nd Feb.
Looking to build on the stellar work by the outgoing committee, a new committee have been elected for 2014: Graham Morris as president; Sarah Higginson secretary; Neil Hayes treasurer; George Lincoln as publicity and development; Gemma Pratt as social sec and last but not least, our club coach Rebecca.
Let’s give them all our support and hopefully reap the rewards in 2014.
